Lot of nine vintage silk ascot ties. Five of the nine have 1950s vintage era 'Saks Fifth Avenue, all silk' labels. Two without labels, one with a 'Homestead Men's Shop' label, one with a '100% pure silk, made in Italy' label. Classic prints and colors, including polka dots, paisley and classical flora, as shown. The solid red and sky blue SFA ascots are shantung, with nubby texture through the weave. The black and gunmetal gray silk Italian made ascot is reversible. The dark blue with white polka dots (unmarked) is a wider width and shorter length, probably 1930s- 1940s. All are in vey good to excellent condition, minimal signs of wear/ handling- exceptions noted. A beautiful collection!

all of the Saks Fifth Avenue ascots are approximately 6- 1/2' wide at widest points, 2- 5/8' wide at pleated necklines, 46' long point to point

the black ascot with red and yellow repeating floral pattern os 5- 1/2' wide, 1- 7/8' wide at neck, 51' in length

the red paisley ascot with Homestead label is 5- 5/8' wide, 1- 3/8' wide at neck, 51' length

the black and gray reversible silk ascot is 5- 1/2' wide, 1- 7/8' wide at neck, 48' in length

the dark blue and white polka dot ascot is 6- 3/8' wide, 1' wide at neck, 40' in length - a few runs to one of the four possible facing sides- easily worn without showing, but worth noting
